About the Author

The author was born and raised in the Kansas City, Missouri area and now lives in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. She is fiercely proud of her amazing children, family, friends, and the world's most supportive husband. She has been a hair stylist and salon owner for her working career and is now ready to share her gift of writing with others.

Writing songs and stories as a child has turned into a passion of hers as an adult. When she is not writing, or doing hair, you might find her experimenting with recipes, playing word games, bird watching, and of course, walking her adorable Australian Shepherd, Scout.

Underneath a farmer's house, there lived a clever tailor mouse.

His dream would soon be coming true, but first he had a job to do.

The brave little mouse finally shows himself to the farmer, and what happens next is the beginning of an ambitious journey.

Reading and singing, I believe, is just as important as talking to your children. It opens up doors of communication and sparks the imagination. Join me in opening doors and keeping those sparks lit!

  Even as a young girl, I enjoyed writing songs and stories that rhymed. I was Inspired by a childhood filled with songs like, "Say, Say oh Playmate", "Senor Don Gato", "Animal Fair", and countless others! I would love to hear from you.
